About the Community
PlainView has been proudly serving the senior citizens of Rankin County and the surrounding area since 2014. Our location in Richland, MS, is a stone’s throw from the City Hall, Library, and Richland Police Department.
Our community is conveniently located near some of the best healthcare, shopping and entertainment that Mississippi has to offer. PlainView features a peaceful and secure environment perfect for enjoying a walk around our beautifully landscaped grounds or relax in one of the many rocking chairs on our large covered porches.
Spacious Private Suites are equipped with individually controlled heating and air conditioning units and feature lots of storage space. Residents are encouraged to decorate their apartment with their own furniture and décor as well as other personal belongings to add a touch of home.
Nutritious meals, medication management, housekeeping and personal assistance are just a few of the many services we offer. Additionally, our professional staff is on-duty 24-hours a day to assist residents with activities of daily living.

Assisted Living
PlainView is an Assisted Living Community, which provides our residents with assistance with their activities of daily living (ADL’s). ADL’s include, but are not limited to, assistance with bathing, dressing, housekeeping, medication assistance, and laundry services. Our compassionate staff members are trained to serve and ensure your loved ones receive the care they deserve in this important stage in their lives.
Our individual care plans allow PlainView to customize a plan to meet each of the specific needs of our residents. Some residents require little or no assistance with certain ADL’s but may require full assistance with others. In addition, these needs most likely will change over time as residents grow older. Our all-inclusive rates allow families to avoid price increases throughout the year as the needs of their loved one change over time.

Salon Services
At PlainView, we have our own private beauty salon and licensed beautician to keep residents looking and feeling their best. to keep those traditions alive. Our ladies can have their hair “done” and men can get a fresh cut or shave. A full list of services is available upon request and services provided from the salon are at an additional charge.

The safety and well-being of our residents is our number one priority.

Although PlainView have an open door policy, all visitors are required to check-in and doors are locked for security after hours. A secure and safe environment is not just another priority at PlainView, it is our top priority.
Housekeeping
In the South, the order and cleanliness of home has long been a source of pride for seniors and, at PlainView Richland, it still is. Some of the house-keeping and services we provide for each resident include:
- Cleaning, dusting, and mopping rooms and bathrooms
- Washing, drying and folding laundry
- Bed linens are changed weekly (or as needed)
- Emptying trash
- Cleaning spills
- Cleaning or wiping down windows and fixtures as needed
- Assistance if residents want to clean their own room
Meet Our Team
Tracey has been a part of the PlainView team since 2014. She initially served as the Wellness Director before advancing to Executive Director in 2018, where she oversees the community’s daily operations. Tracey earned her nursing degree from Hinds Community College as she accumulated extensive experience in hospice care, private duty special needs, and medical billing and coding. Her dedication for caring for residents and their family was evident and deeply rooted in her Christian values.
Tracey is a proud mother to her two sons, who have blessed her with two daughters-in-law and a grandson. Married to her best friend, Tracey cherishes her personal life and prioritizes creating meaningful memories with her family. Her family expanded in 2023 with a bonus son, two daughters, and seven additional grandchildren.
Alisha is a proud graduate of MSU, where she earned her Bachelor of Science. She currently serves as the Resident Services Director, a role she truly loves. Caring for our residents and supporting their quality of life is not just my profession, but her passion.
Alisha previously spent 17 years as a Veterinary Technologist, where she developed a deep sense of compassion, patience, and dedication to care that continues to guide her today.
Her faith is the foundation of her life; God is above all things. Alisha strives to live each day with gratitude, kindness, and purpose, known for her smile and positive spirit, she believes happiness, encouragement, and genuine love can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
