Jay Curtis
President
Jay joined Hickory Senior Living in June 2015. He was born in Memphis, TN where he attended Memphis University School after which he graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics.
Prior to joining Hickory Senior Living, Jay was the Director of Capital Markets at Kimco Realty Corp in New Hyde Park, NY where he facilitated the execution of over $4B in capital raising. Prior to that he was a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Charlotte, NC serving as an originator of CMBS mortgages facilitating the origination of over $2B in commercial real estate debt over his career. Jay and his wife Abbay reside in Memphis, TN with their son, Walker.
Cortney Gasaway
Regional Operations Director
Cortney started her career in 2008 at Dogwood in Fulton, MS as a Resident Assistant. Cortney received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2010 and began serving as an RN for Dogwood Fulton. In 2013 Cortney was promoted to Executive Director at Dogwood Fulton and in 2017 was again promoted to Executive Director of Magnolia Manor Tupelo, Hickory Senior Living’s largest Assisted Living Community. In 2020 Cortney joined the HSL Management Team as Regional Executive Director and has proven to be an integral part of the Hickory family over the years.
Cortney is married to her husband Dustin Gasaway and they have three children, two boys (Bryson and Jace) and one girl (Kalee). We are excited to have Cortney’s extensive experience and skills as part of the Regional Management Team which serves 10 locations throughout Mississippi. Her compassion, knowledge and extensive insight into the operations of Hickory Senior Living will bring an added level of expertise to the HSL Management Team and the senior living communities she operates.
Mandy Armstrong
Regional Executive Director
Mandy was raised in Saltillo where she also attended high school. After graduation she attended ICC and graduated with an Associates of Arts. Mandy started her career with Hickory Senior Living in 2015 as Executive Director for Rosewood in Tupelo, MS. She later transferred to a sister community, Southern Magnolia in Golden, MS. In 2018, Mandy returned back to Rosewood as Executive Director. After the birth of her first child, she attended ICC and graduated in 2021 earning her Certified Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. Mandy is married to TJ Armstrong of Guntown. Their pride and joy is their baby girl, Gracie.
Hickory Senior Living is excited to have Mandy join the Regional Management Team as Executive Director which serves 10 locations throughout Mississippi. She has proven to be an integral part of the Hickory family over the years. Her kind spirit and servant’s heart is a blessing to our residents and staff. Her passion shines bright through her work and we believe she posses the skills necessary to be successful in her new promotion.
