About the Community
Located in historic Corinth, Dogwood rests on 10 beautiful acres of peaceful countryside with the convenience of medical services, dining and shopping just minutes away. Dogwood Corinth features a peaceful and secure environment perfect for enjoying a walk around our beautifully landscaped grounds or relaxing in one of our many rocking chairs on our large covered porches.

Dogwood Corinth offers Private and Semi-Private Suites both in its traditional, personal care units as well as its Special Care Wing for residents with early stages of dementia and other memory loss issues. Each suite is equipped with a private handicap accessible bathroom and closet space. Each Suite includes individually climate controlled heating and air conditioning units; grab bars, smoke alarms and emergency call lights. Families are encouraged to decorate the suites with existing furniture and personal belongings to provide a home away from home atmosphere. We have several common areas perfect for lounging with residents or visitors, including porches with patio furniture and rocking chairs.
The services included in a resident’s monthly fee are 3 delicious balanced meals, medication management and housekeeping. We have a licensed dietician who carefully crafts menus based on the season and in accordance to the resident’s specific dietary needs. If for some reason a resident does not find interest in the meal for the day, our dietary staff is willing to prepare an alternative for them upon request. In addition to our medication management service, our nursing staff monitors blood pressure, heart rates and blood sugars.
Our nursing staff also assists with ordering and refilling their medications through RediMeds Pharmacy on McCullough, as well as arranging doctor appointments. In addition to the daily services provided, we offer a comprehensive social calendar with daily activities to stimulate both their body and mind. Dogwood Corinth is also pleased to provide onsite physical therapy services through Performance Rehab for our residents. Keeping fit is an important key to good health and wellness. This service provides residents convenient access to certified physical and occupational therapist as well as speech if needed. Performance Rehab host a weekly fitness class at each of our facilities to improve physical, mental and social health.
Services & Amenities
Assisted Living
Our assisted living communities provide our residents with assistance with activities of daily living (ADL’s). Activities of daily living include but are not limited to, assistance with bathing, dressing, housekeeping, medication assistance, meals and laundry services. Our compassionate staff members are trained to serve and ensure your loved ones receive the care they deserve in this important stage in their lives.
Individual care plans allow our communities to customize a plan to meet each of the specific needs of our residents. Some residents require little or no assistance with certain ADL’s but may require full assistance with others. In addition, these needs most likely will change over time as folks grow older. Assisted living is the perfect balance – the independence you want and the care you need.

Special Care Wing
Dogwood Corinth features a secure Special Care Wing that is designed for residents who do not require skilled nursing care but do need extra attention due to dementia and other memory loss issues. We have created a secure community with this group in mind that takes into account the daily needs and challenges of both residents and caregivers.
Our staff has been specially trained to meet the unique needs of residents with dementia and also the special needs of family members dealing with this disease. When searching for caregivers to work at Dogwood Corinth, we look for people who prove to have a nurturing servant’s heart and loving spirit.
Our Special Care Wing consists of eight private rooms with baths, spacious dining and day room. Our gated and covered patio is great for dining outdoors or participating in a variety of our planned activities. Enjoy comfort and peace of mind knowing your loved one is in a secure, safe and loving environment managed by a professional staff. These advanced services afford most residents the ability to stay in an assisted living environment and avoid a skilled care nursing home for a longer period of time.

Salon Services
At Dogwood Corinth, we have our own private beauty salon and licensed beautician to keep residents looking and feeling their best. Our ladies can have their hair “done” and men can get a fresh cut or shave. A full list of services is available upon request and services provided from the salon are at an additional charge.

Housekeeping
In the South, the order and cleanliness of home has long been a source of pride for seniors and, at Dogwood Corinth, it still is. Some of the house-keeping and services we provide for each resident include:
- Cleaning, dusting, and mopping rooms and bathrooms
- Washing, drying and folding laundry
- Bed linens are changed weekly (or as needed)
- Emptying trash
- Cleaning spills
- Cleaning or wiping down windows and fixtures as needed
- Assistance if they want to clean their own room
Meet Our Team
Micaela has worked in patient care from a young age and earned her RN in 2016 from Northeast Mississippi Community College. She is pursuing her master’s degree in nursing. Micaela brings extensive clinical experience, having served as an RN in ICU, COVID units, EMS services, and hospice.
She is passionate about caring for residents and finds fulfillment in making a meaningful difference in their lives each day. Micaela is a proud mother of three children and has been married to her husband, Josh, since 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys everything outdoors, cooking, crafting, spending time with her family, and caring for her dogs.
Monica began her career at Dogwood in 2019 as a Resident Assistant. She has been the Resident Services Director since January 2022. Monica brings more than 16 years of experience in long-term care and personal sitting services.
A lifelong resident of Corinth, Mississippi, she is a graduate of Alcorn High and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. Through her compassionate care and genuine smile, caring for others is truly her calling.
Outside of work, Monia is a proud mother of three and enjoys spending time with her family.
Olivia is originally from Corinth, Mississippi. She attended Alcorn High and continued her education at Northeast Mississippi Community College. There she earned her associate’s degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant, gaining several years of experience in both nursing home and hospital settings. Olivia then returned to school to pursue Respiratory Therapy.
Throughout her career, she maintained a strong passion for healthcare and takes great pride in helping others feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
Olivia is married to her husband, Logan, and they have a daughter, Abbigail. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
