REGINA BENNETT
We are pleased to announce that Regina Bennett is being promoted to the position of Executive Director at Southern Magnolia Iuka. Regina Bennett started her nursing career at NMMC in 2001. While attending North East Community College Nursing Program, she worked as a CNA until graduation in 2002. Regina was then promoted to NMMC Home Health RN. She began seeing patients of Southern Magnolia through Home Health and fell in love with the atmosphere. The residents lead her to want to work at Southern Magnolia and be apart of a great team. In December of 2010, Regina was hired as RN at Southern Magnolia Iuka. She later joined our sister facility in Golden as a RN. We are excited to have Regina’s extensive experience and skills as a part of the Southern Magnolia family.
APRIL LARGENT
April Largent started her employment with Southern Magnolia Iuka as a Resident Assistant in 2017. April has a true passion for the elderly and love for all people. “Each day is a fresh start when I walk through the doors at Southern Magnolia” says April. Prior to her employment at Southern Magnolia, she was a teacher at a local Head Start. When initially hired, April worked the weekends in the front Independent Living area. There was a gentleman in the Specialty Care area that needed assistance and she quickly responded. April knew immediately, Specialty Care was her calling. “We laugh, cry, love and cherish every moment here. I love caring for our residents every way I can.” April’s love for the elderly shines deep and we are blessed to have her at Southern Magnolia as Resident Services Director.
