Special Care at Magnolia Manor of Tupelo

Rosewood

At Magnolia Tupelo we recognize the needs of our residents with memory loss and are passionate about helping each resident age gracefully. We have created an environment with this group in mind that takes into account the daily needs and challenges of both residents and caregivers.

By creating activities and programming specially designed to be resident and family friendly, our goal is to motivate, stimulate and enhance their independence and quality of life while engaging both to participate.

The staff at our memory & dementia care in Tupelo, MS has been specially trained to meet the unique needs of residents with dementia and also the special needs of family members dealing with this disease. When looking for individuals to fill this position, we look for people who prove to have a nurturing servant’s heart and loving spirit.

We want people who not only provide the daily assistance that your loved one requires, but, by second nature, gives a little extra love, compassion and respect every time the opportunity presents itself. Our “person centered” approach to caring for residents in our care allows us to provide a level of care that is only matched by the care of a close friend or family member. This approach requires us to enlist the help of the residents’ family member or care giver.

From day one, family members or responsible parties are encouraged to participate in care plans, dietary needs and care practices specifically designed for individuals living with dementia and other related memory loss conditions. We feel this is the best way to afford our residents the best possible advantage to a long and healthy life to the fullest. These advanced services afford most residents the ability to stay in an assisted living environment and avoid a skilled care nursing home environment for a longer period of time.
