Hickory Senior Living would like to welcome Allyson Hudson as the new Executive Director for Dogwood Fulton. Allyson is from Pontotoc County. She is married with three children, two girls and one boy. Allyson comes to us with many years in healthcare and a true servant’s heart for those in her care. Allyson immediately began working in long term care right out of high school which inspired her passion for geriatric care at a younger age. She has worked in areal Assisted Living Facilities a Director of Marketing and Business Office Manager. Allyson’s most recent position was with Hospice Care as a Community Educator. Allyson has an Associate in Marketing and a Bachelor in Business Administration. Her business and healthcare knowledge and passion for the care of the elderly are why we believe Allyson is the most suitable for Dogwood Fulton.
"Raised in Pontotoc county, I moved to Melbourne, Florida. There I graduated from Melbourne High School in 1990. I began working in the healthcare field at the age of 18 as a surgical technician in the United States Army during Desert Storm. I graduated from Itawamba Community College as an IV certified licensed practical nurse in 2009. In 2011, I became part of Dogwood Fulton as a PRN nurse and moved to full-time in 2012. I have one daughter, Brooke Vickers, who has just finished her second year of college and is working on her Bachelor's degree in nursing. I am a LSU football fan, avid golfer, and enjoy cooking."
